 		I downloaded this and discovered that I do not have the hardware for the engine.

It does look good on the 3 platforms that it requires

Kuron I am looking forward to AGK 2

I eagerly awaited for the original AGK to come out then, not long after I purchased a license, AGK-2 was announced. Had I have known that was in the pipeline, I would have waited for that to come out. I'm going to wait for it to mature a bit before going for AGK-2, I will stick with Monkey-X for now.

Back on topic... Although it does look good, Godot is just a beefed-up GameMaker clone. That kind of software takes the hand of God away from the game developer, it kind of makes your work their work because they already did all the donkey work, if you get my meaning.

 		I'm OK with using libraries though because geeks, nerds and coders like to do their own algorithms and therefore still get their buzz; it just doesn't feel like my own work if I use drag-n-drop stuff.

I have not found a 3D product I liked since DarkBasic Classic.


I've never installed that one. I did download the free version of professional when they ave it away.

It turned out to be not too much more than BB however, had I got myself involved with it very deeply, on scale of World of Warcraft, that might have made the difference.

@Kuron: which is better? Classic or Professional?
