 		No idea. Most NASs include a USB port, but the ones I've had have been the opposite direction, ie will happily backup the external drive onto the internal drive, not the other way around.

Have a hunt for the NAS's PDF online, and see what that says. It might be that the drive includes that ability.

According to this, if you have a second Diskstation on the same network, you can set them to sync files with each other.
