It's many many many years old, but I'm still using my old Belkin "g" router alongside my VirginMedia "SuperHub", which is a bit pants.. The old Belkin seems much more stable, based on it's wifi connection alone. But neither have wifi-N, they're both b/g

Took me AGES getting both routers to work simultaneously, but having two routers at opposite ends of the house. The Virgin Media router is downstairs at the telly, whilst the Belkin one is upstairs in the back bedroom.

I could've set the Belkin up as a repeater, but have instead set it up as it's own little wifi network. There are complications in getting that up and running, but I've found that connecting to a specific router when in a specific room tends to work better than doing that repeater thing.
.. Or maybe that's just a wonky experience? *shrugs*

I don't know much about routers, but will this help Dave?

I asked Jay this question once before after getting fed up with terrible Lynksys routers.

He recommended Belkin then too and I don't regret it! Solid choice!
