BREXIT! I swear I'm going to fucking kill somebody if I hear that word much more between now and 23rd June. Professional journalists should not invent shit words for things.

Ahhhh... The good auld Brexit!

Yeah, it's everywhere, I bet Van Gaal at Manchester United is pleased... Cos he's been everywhere on the news lately (For obviously reasons... And yes, I'm a Sunderland fan \o/)

Anyway, I'm personally in the Leave camp and will be voting for that, not that I'm anti-european, far from it... I've had some really good jollies over on ze continent, met some lovely people over there (Usually bar staff like, lol), but, I just dont personally feel "European", and, as such, after all these years I have literally no idea what the European project does for me or the region I live in, well, places are twinned with other places (I literally have no idea who Langley Park is twinned with actually), and, erm, thats it!

I'm a little concerned with jobs up here, not for myself, but, with the influx of workers from the continent, with more to come when Turkey and whoever else join, that will push our kids further down the pecking order... In construction up here, enough is enough, we should be nurturing our newly skilled home grown talent so they can build a future for themselves.

Even though I do follow politics generally, I literally have no idea who is in charge in Europe, what they do or anything... All I see is that they dig up rules (Directives?) and laws and we implement them, with no say generally.

The whole system is fragmented from one state to the next, there's no common working hours/holidays/tax system, and yep, you've got to look at the big balls up in Greece... They cooked their books to join the EU, nobody checked, it went tits up! If the dream is unity, then, one or two states really cannot dictate and punish another to the point of poverty which some are doing now... I firmly believe they wanted Greece to leave, it was a headache to the system (It might still be), the club med states are still scraping by... One or two large states shouldnt be calling all the shots if everyone is supposed to be in it together.

I could go on, but, I'm detached from the place, even though it does affect my life obviously. When I go abroad over there, I still feel foreign, like I said, any "Being European" is totally lost on me... On the other side, I could be sitting in a downtown coffee shop chatting to locals or restaurant in New York and I usually feel like I could be just in, say, Leeds! Its true, I feel more at home on a continent on the other side of the ocean then I do then the one just 21 miles over the channel! Go figure

Huh? What's a brexit?

Is it some sort of Brick attached to string that's now carried around by "hip" london folk who have now taken to styling their bricks with accessories and custom paint jobs?

So it would appear in conversations such as...

Hey, sweet brexit bro, nice contouring!

Yeah, my brexit is pretty sweet, you're looks a bit rough though mate.

Yeah, the dog thought it was a plaything, stupid mutt.

Sounds like something I'd call one of my games, when I'm completely desperate for a name, and nothing else fits.

I agree with Rychan.. Something with Bricks, possibly a Klax clone.

I just relised the BrExit could solve the world energy problem. Maggie Thatcher would be spinning in her grave so all we need to do is attach a generator head to each end, problem solved!

Ohh, maybe brexit is what you call the closing bit of a BR tag in html

I guess it's quicker than saying forward slash close angular parenthesis
