spinal	"BBC One HD cannot yet show programmes from your area." - Seriously? in 2016! I have to switch from BBC One to BBC One, to get my local news and weather! Even if my region is not providing an HD stream, they could at least transfer the SD version over the same station instead of a stupid apology screen. What a waste of my BBC tax. --- Surely though, whoever presses the buttons at the BBC can flip to the SD version though? Can't be that hard, would be just like changing the current show to a different one. -=-=- Check out my excellent homepage!

Jayenkai	Perhaps your local BBC Region doesn't have a HD Newsroom setup? shrugs I'll have to try mine, later. My bedroom telly's got Freeview HD, but the downstairs one (even through it's about twice the size) only has Standard Freeview because it's approximately a week older sigh Technology, eh!? -=-=- ''Load, Next List!''

rockford	I see where Spinal's coming from - If HD isn't available, just switch to SD. If it's already saying that HD is not available, I presume it's an automated process, so why can't that process just do the switch, rather than displaying the message. As for HD channels. I don't bother with any of them.

Jayenkai	Went to check this, last night, but remembered I unplugged the telly when we had the new gas boiler fitted a few months back, so we could pull out the chest of drawers, and the plumber could get round the back to get to the radiator. .. Haven't plugged the telly in since then. Wires.. Chaos.. Evil insanity! Gave up -=-=- ''Load, Next List!''
