The world is a fantastic place - being stuck inside or stuck in work makes you forget the bigger picture. And that bigger picture has an infinite number of pixels, colours and HDR.

Trouble is, the colours outside are all shades of grey at the moment, but give it a couple of months - strangely at the exact same time as the Switch is released. Hmmmm...

Closest "park" (as in the kids park meaning) is basically a couple of swings, a roundabout and a slide, and a big boggy marshland around it. Soggy feet at the best of times. Current weather = Don't Go Near!!!

Closest "park" (as in the "large green niceness") is Moses Gate Country Park, which is fairly nice, but is approximately 5x the walk to Tesco. It's also down at the bottom of "the Brew".. walking down to it wouldn't be too much of an issue, but I certainly wouldn't look forward to the trip back up again!!

Simply walking there would be a trek in itself. I'd need a good few hours recovery after that, and then there's the trek back.
Fiddlesticks..

Oh, and .. yeah.. those NPC AIs, too..

Get yourself one of those wheely walking frames with a seat. Then just pick a direction, walk for a bit, when it gets too much, just stop, sit for a little while. You don't need to actually go 'somewhere', just go a different direction to Tesco, see some different streets, there doesn't need to be somewhere at the end.

My brother in law had the same lack of getting out problem when he had a stroke at age 48, he is now seemingly cripped for life, his outdoor life considerably improved once he bought a mobility scooter. My advide to anyone getting a mobility scooter is don't get it though a mobility firm because you will be ripped off bigtime, a second hand one will be just as good at only around 1/8 of the price. My brother in law found out about the rip off the hard way, mobility firms are greedy bastards.

It's not much different to having a car really, apart from being much slower, you can still get excersize if you ride it near to where you want to go and then park it just like a car.

They also cost peanuts to charge.
