Socoder -> Off Topic -> How to make paragraphs in the "Your Blog" feature?

How do you make paragraphs or line breaks in the "Your Blog" feature.

I tried the backslash n,
[br] [p], but none of these work.

I've looked in the BBCode help but there is nothing there on making paragraphs or line breaks.

I'm wanting to document my work, with screenshots; but everytime I preview it -- all the line breaks/paragraphs end up being one line.

Any help on this would be great.

There are no line breaks - just use a new line.

Like that.
All text entry stuff on this site works in exactly the same way, so for new lines you just have to use a new line. There are no paragraphs or line breaks, but you can easily simulate them with new lines and tabs.

Hope that helps.

The Preview function is messed up.

|moan| Agreed. If you have a code box then you can only preview your post once, and then you have to refresh the page. All line breaks are also removed. They do however appear properly when the post is submitted. |moan|

I'll admit, I'm surprised anyone's actually using the Preview.
I never really bothered to fix it, because, personally I never use preview functions on websites. If I bugger up a post, I go back and edit it.

But, hey, if folk are complaining, then I guess it needs a fixing.

..
Gimme a couple of hours, though.. I seem to have buggered up my whole "Tuesday = AGameAWeek" schedule, here!!

Yes. I was having problems with the preview function which wasn't formatting paragraphs properly.

Anyway, I hope it gets resolved.
