Fact : Sonic CD remake was developed by a member of the SonicRetro forum, who spent years building a Classic Sonic engine, made it all nice and awesome, then got asked by Sega to reproduce Sonic CD. The engine is new, the game has new features (Tails!) and quite frankly, this is the sort of thing Sega should've been doing from the start. Emulated rehashes doesn't cut it. Awesome work!

I'm pretty sure an emulated rehash is available on at least one Nintendo ting.

Wow! That's an amazing indie success story!
