Just nabbed my free copy of Windows 7!!! One perk of being a student. Though I have to say DreamSpark is the worst website I have ever used.

I've not used Dreamspark, although I have access. The old MSDNAA which was the precursor, was awesome! I got access to software which would have easily added up to over £10,000 in licence fees.

The best thing is that they normally put new copies of Windows on there when it's on sale for business, a few months before it's available to the public. So I wouldn't get too comfortable with Win7, Windows 8 should be popping up in a month or two.

Windows 8 is already on there! Though Office is stuck at the 2007 version.

Hey, it's free, I can't complain!

Oh wow, I'll have to get my Dreamspark account. Vista and Win7 were released in October for manufacturing, so I presumed the Win8 October release was manufacturing too (instead that's the consumer release).
