Yey! Finally my troubles with laptops is over. Here is the whole story:

About 2 years ago I had saved up about $750, I wanted to get a laptop. My parents said they would pay half and I would pay the other half. So I went to Best Buy and got an $1500 eMachines m6810. A month or two later the hinge between the screen and the keyboard part cracked. I had bought a service plan so we went back to Best Buy and they kindly exchanged it for a $1530 Compaq R3240US. That has worked fine for the past 2 years, but about a 2 months ago the DVD Drive just stopped working. I reinstalled drivers, system restore, and a bunch of other stuff. I concluded that it was a hardware problem. Back to Best Buy once again. Sent the laptop in with my 3 year service plan. about 2-3 weeks later I get it back. Sure the drive works now. But they BROKE the bezel cover for the drive AND they gave me a bad battery that would only hold a charge for about 10 mins AND the gave it back with one of those little rubber grippy things gone. At that point I already had my desktop so I figured I would go back and send it in again(3 weeks ago). A week ago I recieved a call at my house "...the cost of repair is greater than the value of the computer...please come with your sales reciept and you can pick out a new laptop..". OMG all they had to do was fix a broken bezel, give me a battery that acually works, and give me another one of those rubber grippy things. But what the hell. I get a $1530 laptop(or so I thought). So yesterday I went to Best Buy again and "...we do not go by the original price...we go by the technology." So there goes my hopes. After about 2 hours of looking around I found the one I have now. An HP Pavilion dv2125nr. It is about 2x as good as my previous one. So I am happy. NFSMW at almost full quality which is still pretty good. This laptop is awesome($899 retail, $0 for me )
