Boooo Satudays...

Saturday's suck

I can't imagine how the rest of you must be, with your full jobs/school/college, and all that.
'cos every Saturday, when I need to do a full day's work, it leaves me with little or no coding time.
I can't stand that!
Having to rush all my coding into a few select hours, and never really getting anything finished, before having to stop, and rush off to work.

Booo!

I've grown to hate Saturdays.

..
Still, I got quite a bit done, today.
I worked on my newest MidletPascal game a bit more, and simultaneously rebuilt the BlitzTest game to boot.

I also got a wee bit of a new project up and running.

And then remembered I'd already started a different new project, and then realised it was time for work, and then rushed around like a headless chicken trying to get ready!

..

Boooo!!!

What can I say?
Ever since I joined SoCoder I've tried to get you to quit your job and do something more sensible.
But you never listen.
Booo!!

Trying to come up with a suitable reply is hurting my head.

Here's a list of what I've suggested so far off the top of my head:

Senior gameprogrammer
Gamedesigner
DJ
Children's television music maker for BBC
Author
I also think I suggested indie gamedeveloper at some point. Full time indie game developer.

I seriously think you should try and join a small games team too. With all the stuff you've done I actually think it would be quite easy. Why not look online and see if you can find some teams that are based nearby!

Jay, I got a suggestion.

Make a highly polished PlatDude game with XNA, and make room for a few sequels. Then release it on XBox Community Games. Then get very wealthy, very quickly with your brilliant game.

Just don't do a "Lord Lucan" style vanishing act, like Matthew Smith did after he created Jet-Set-Willy

maybe, you could start a "socoder gamedev team"
