Long week
This is a bit of a random scrawl. Currently I'm finishing my degree. I have three weeks of exams, today is the end of week two and what I consider to be the peak of my examness. I have 6 in total, and including todays it means 5 are now down (with my last being at the end of next week on Thursday).

I built a table calcualting my final mark based on the marks I have received so far, and my prediction for what I have received from my exams. 40% is the minimum I need, this is a pass (a third), whilst 70% is the top mark (a first). So far I am predicted approximately 84%, which I've been told by a lecturer essentially guarantees you acceptance and a full scholarship for a PHD at my uni (although I'm not planning to do a PHD). Most of this is also from my coursework and previous years which I have the actual marks for (i.e. most of it is not predicted).

I'm posting this as today has been the longest day of all. This morning a 3 hour Concurrency exam, and in the afternoon 2 hours on Intelligent Systems. Of the two Concurrency was the one which I was most worried, it's worth 80% of the module (so I need to do well to pass) and I had performed practically no revision for it. However I had it completed leasurely in just over 2 hours, and would not be surprised if I scored in the top 90%.

The latter, Intelligent Systems, didn't go so well. Lots of items I hadn't revised came up, and most of those had only been breezed over in lectures. I suspect I may only receive around 60%, much lower then my usual average for an exam. However as I said above I only needed to turn up (receive 0%) to still get a first. So anything is better then nothing.

 		I'd say that is a pretty good position to be in!

I too like to forecast my grades. I only need Cs (60%, and that is UMS, not raw score (UMS score is normally bumped up a little as they 'normalise' the results across the whole country) in geography and economics, but unfortunately I need a full A average in these maths exams to get an A overall

(I'm talking about A levels, I am currently doing A2 (second year).

 		I'm REALLY tired, that's the problem. Too tired to even mention it.

Yesterday I walked to university and back 4 times (which is 15 minutes up a steep hill), completed 4 past papers and wrote over 14 full pages of A4 notes. Then today it's up early for 5 hours of exams with only an hour and half break in between (much of which is walking).

Still tonight I am planning to go round a mates and spend the evening killing Nazi Zombies on CoD: World at War.

 		A pass is a pass, I think you did well! I've been actually debating the PhD thing recently; still got a couple more years to decide, but it's lingering in the back of my mind. I've been done with exams now for about a month though, I actually just started this past monday again for summer semester .
