Spurred on by Spinal and Dabz's realisation that they're practically neighbours, I thought a topic might be worthy!
No need to be specific. Ballpark if you're scared of the boogeyman coming to eat your chips.

I'm in Little Lever, near Bolton, which is in the North West of England.

We have a Mecanno Bridge going over our long dead, dried up, useless canal.
We've not had the population of a Vllage for over 50 years, and are now more like a small town, but we still refer to it as a village, because fuck numbers, fuck you, fuck everyone, we're a village, damnit!!!

I'm from a town called Cramlington, the closest landmark city to me is Newcastle-upon-tyne (around 10 miles away) in the north east of england. Nothing important has really happened around here. We don't get fancy bridges or anything.

I live in ConcreteCowsVille - Milton Keynes. Breeding ground to roundabouts, the MKDons Football Club, another concrete animal (dinosaur) and a bus service that was created in a city designed for the car...

We also have the National Bowl, where Michael Jackson once played (possibly with kids). Some other acts have also played there, but not for much longer - it's being turned into either a housing estate, a new National badminton centre or something else. The car-booters won't like it though, as that's where millions descend every Sunday.

I live around 20 miles from Jay, the wonder that is Rochdale, well a little village just outside it.

Claims to fame are the birthplace of the Co-op and erm Rochdale AFC, was stuck in league 2 for 36 years without promotion or relegation.

I'm in Brighton, South East England, UK. Out of all the Landmarks I can think of right now; we have the new Amex Stadium and Brighton Race Course, we also have a recognised ski slope which was used for grass skiing up until the mid 1980s but the younger generation fail to acknowledge that.
