Hi guys,

I'm trying to show/hide a div, but the code doesn't seem to be responding to the first click.

here is a jsfiddle of it, rather simple
https://jsfiddle.net/X7NC6

Anyone know why the first button click is going unnoticed?

I remember having this issue myself, but I can't for the life of me remember why it was happening.
Issue solvable by flipping your check statement.

weirdly I got around the problem by no using a class and inlining the css to hide the div.
