Check out my platformer game, Fluffy in the Enchanted Land. Just 2 quick levels.

Game is coming along very nice, many amendments has been done to previous versions.

Would game be worthwhile as budget game?

What u guys think overall

check it out here.

Impressive, I must say. Or rather: "argh, you multi-talented bastard!"

Seriously though, it looks very nice, and feels very solid. I'm not a fan of the limited life idea, though. I'm usually not very good at these games, and it puts me off when I have to replay lots of stuff just because I screwed up. As far as I know, it's a relic from the arcade game ("Insert a coin to play!") days, and I'd suggest that you remove that part.

I was also annoyed by the monsters' invincibility period after having been hit by an apple -- I want to kill the monster now, not in five seconds! I also found the change of speed which appeared when I jumped felt abnormal. I realize that the bunny is meant to go faster while jumping, but the change shouldn't be so direct; smoothen it a bit.

This short "review" might seem excessively negative, for such a fantastic work as this. That is not my intention. I want to see this finished, so good luck! I don't know what qualifies for being a budget game, but I know that the bar is set pretty high today compared to what it was five years ago. You should probably seek that kind of advice elsewhere, since the members of this forum don't really have much publishing experience, at least not to my knowledge.

Cool game!
But I agree with Phoenix, I'm not a fan of the limited life idea.
I would also prefer it if the gameplay was faster and the running felt 'smoother'.

It is coming along nicely.

I think having limited lives fits well in this game. I'd keep it. But, I'd recommend getting rid of the monsters' temporary invincibility, as well the weird falling sound effect.

Nothing I can say that hasn't been said already.

Lives are good.. Nobody seems to be able to play games properly anymore.. 3 lives, start, get to end. That how games oughta be.

Stick with it!
It's a great game.

And, yeah, that falling sound's a bit odd.

Thanks Guys.
Ye the falling sound gets on my nerves when I jump 3-5 times in less than 1-2 secs

Its going off. Lives im afraid will have to remain as game must be a bit challenging at least. I can tell you at least that there will be continue points + when you finish a full world you dont have to go back to it again

Ill also take a look at the jumping and smoothen it a little.

Ill keep in touch. cyas
