Hello!

I've always loved Science Fiction, Babylon 5, Stargate SG-1.(never got into Star-Trek, dull)
I am just sitting here listening to some Battlestar Galactica(Reimagined series) soundtrack, wishing I could toast a frackin' Cylon, and thinking how this is one of the best series I've ever seen.

Story: which I know has some holes, but still amazing.
Personally I enjoyed the miniseries and season 1 best. But still kept going strong for me. Think I watched it all without a break once I got into it. Bad for my work, but hey.

Music: some of it is strong stuff, especially during some of the more moving parts of the series. I have the soundtrack on my MP3 player, and listen to it often.

Actors: Some are indeed quite annoying at times. But Seeing Edward James Olmos(William Adama) beating the crap out of people is quite entertaining. Olmos and Michael Hogan(Saul Tigh) are also very good together.

Watching hundreds of Cylon raiders charging an almost undefended fleet is quite the rush! The epic land and space battles are very well done I think. I don't really have anything to compare it too, though.

I feel it is a shame the series is over. Good thing they are still making some movies. That will keep me going until I get the big box of goodies!

So, what do you people think about one of the greatest shows ever? Anyone as in love with it as me?

I still haven't seen it, yet!

I tried to watch the first one, when it was on tv, but.. I guess I wasn't in the mood for a long filmy drama at the time, and I kinda kept drifting off, and playing about on the net.
If I'm in the mood, I'd likely enjoy it a lot more.

Just, you know, haven't gotten round to it, yet!

Well, as you might expect I strongly recommend you start watching it. Even if you just watch the first part of the miniseries. That will be enough to make you want more

I love it. Kara Thrace bothered me a lot by the end of the season -- I don't like how her character evolved throughout the series. Other than that I don't have many complaints -- and I must say, battlestar has the most thrilling and epic space combat scenes that you will ever see. Three thumbs up.

I loved Battlestar galactica, the earlier seasons more. I agree about Kara Thrace, it didn't really come to anything or importance of what she was meant to be in the final episodes, and preferred it when she and Apollo where fighter pilots instead of a recluse and a politician
