If you had a house made of Candy, designed to attract children, what would it look like?

Explain, model or draw...

I was thinking of designing a house built of chocolate. But then I thought to myself 'Who in their right mind would build a house of chocolate?'
It could melt, and it probably isn't very isolating either.
I'm seriously thinking of going with Gingerbread. Overall, it seems to make the most sense.

I don't think you should.
I'm sick and have taken 6 aspirins in the last 12 hours or so.
Apparently they can make you hallucinate.
Anyways I think I decided to go with Gingerbread as the basic building material.

You could model it as a giant cake, all cut out in the middle. An iced roof with something for tiles (smarties?). Giant candy canes for the archway to the front door. Along the walls is cream and jam for the grouting of the bticks, all oooozing out between the layers of cake-house.

To attract children, add lots of free cigarettes in the doorway. I've had lots of Children these days asking me to buy fags for them.

Ooohh!
I like it!

... I haven't actually decided whether I'm gonna do it as 3D or if I'm going to be brave enough to do it as 2D.
I'm probably going to make one scene in 2D and one in 3D and then I'll weigh them against each other in terms of how long it took, how it looks etc

You're not considering rain here. Candy or hard breads of any sort will be ruined if it rains.

If 2D, stick with cake, or something lacking too much texture. Add a few pillars (Mmmm.. Flake!) on the corners, and a dollop (gum drop/ice drops/etc) on top of those pillars. Keep it simple, but enough that it looks enticing.

If 3D, go crazy! Grab textures of sweet wrappers, and things like that, and layer them all up to create a lattice structure (build up a texture of sweet wrappers, and wrap the house in that), then .. again, add pillars and whatnot.

A nice liquorice fence would be nice
