Stealth	I think not being able to focus is a lack of discipline. Stop thinking of ways to motivate yourself and just do it. Open up your code editor right now and stop contemplating it. That's what I do. -=-=- Quit posting and try Google.

waroffice	I run in to this problem sometimes too, i find that when in this mood my output is not as good and end up having to do it again. I think you should relax and unwind for a bit do something meaningless, like the Buddhist monks do to meditate. I find i have my best ideas while a) trying to sleep 2) should be working or iii) in the shower. trying to force yourself is not good for your reputation --- also, i often find asking for help on a forum be it coding or assistance with some other project makes me focus on the subject more and actually write down what my problem is so hopefully you saying your procrastinating should actually motivate you to work
