Socoder -> On Topic -> Bandello - We love indies (Business aid for game devs)

I haven't been able to find a better spot to post this, so mods do your thing if you find it necessary.

To all game developers out there, here's a bit of shameless self promotion from Bandello

We're a no cure-no pay indie games agency that focuses on securing funding from publishers and investors for indies. We also have a PR service in place, The Bandello LaunchPad, to get the word out there about launches, major updates, promo codes, or whatever newsworthy announcement you may have.

In terms of funding we work on a commission or a rev share basis, so no upfront payment. For the LaunchPad we have some packages in place - check them out here: www.bandello.com/launchpad/#details. However, we're pretty flexible on those, depending on the case.

We like to stay in touch with developers regardless of the stage of their project or plans, to hear about their work, and to get a feel for their company and team. So, add me on skype or drop me an email and lets talk: ajso84 / andreas@bandello.com

Over and out!

Dear god, I get feck all out of AGameAWeek! If I were to start paying for promotion every week, I'd be bankrupt before I get to week 6!!!

... that's a lie.. I couldn't even pay for week 1, right now..

Post left up, because as much as I'd usually consider it spam, others might actually find it useful.
although, if I'm honest, I don't think "crazy underground website full of coders you've never heard of, and who aren't exactly raking it in" is the best bet for sales!

So you write press releases, and send them out on people's behalf?

I can't help being sceptical that you would do a very generic job, which would be terrible, especially if that is mostly what your service talks about.

To do press releases right requires lots of personal attention. Plus once you've talked about it with someone who is experienced with doing them, then doing your own are not that challenging, and not something I would pay for (unless I was getting a lot more).
