Apparently somethings up with include, the path maybe? no matter, don't have a php.ini to correct anything.

Could it be an issue with file permissions? My brother often gets those on Mac OS with PHP.

I'm not sure. There are numerous possibilities.

You could just use MAMP.

I've had this problem on and off over the years.
The most common problem for me is usually a conflict with the port that I'm using for apache, it tends to have some interesting issues that make it look like apache is working, but php isn't, so I usually make a habit of changing the port as soon as I start setting up anything on a mac.

Just to make sure.
