I told you constructively how to do that, and I told you again and again and again, but you keep taking it as a personal insult.

You also half complain, half warn people about how messy your code is all the time.

I don't see why Jay doing what he enjoys is a problem. The dude's not stupid and programming is always learning something new, so why does he need to learn one thing over another? He clearly doesn't just do the same thing based on the sheer variety of games he's made, either, so the argument that he keeps doing the same thing is also garbage to me.

If there's anyone who seems to just avoid learning or trying new things, Afr0, it's probably you with your MMO obsession and tendency to make things up rather than actually learn them. I'd also mention your latest strange belief about bytes and bits, but I've mostly written you off as a lost cause.

Technically you can represent 0 - 255 in a byte (that's 256!), but that doesn't really solve the problem of packet lengths.

Me, I complain about everything, work, my golf, programming, my left knee, my back, BT Vision knocking off Sky Sports 1 and 2 because I dont have BT Infinity where I live, the price of Sky TV, having to take out the rubbish since I seem to be the only one that can do it... yadda yadda yadda!

I actually enjoy my life, and I like a moan, but because I like a good auld moan it doesnt mean I want to take a bath with a plugged in toaster, its just a way of getting by with the irks that seem to greet us daily... Nothing major, and no anti-depressy's required!
