Have your phone's operating system branded after a chocolate bar. Sure, why not, it's not as if Android isn't fragmented enough... Why not make the next version into a giant fucking advert for a chocolate bar that sells in a bazillion different shapes, sizes and flavours. Kinda fits, but... According to the BBC, it was just a random decision that got approved by both parties. No money making scheme, just a silly idea that got inexplicably agreed upon!

Yeah, right. Of course Nestle using the Andoid logo on their packaging is also coincidental. Nestle had a major lawsuit with Cadburys who wanted to introduce a similar bar of chocolate to their range - simply because it had four fingers - SEE HERE I don't believe for a second that Nestle would allow their product's name to be used without getting some form of financial package. |
