Missed some guy from the electric company yesterday, have to phone them back and give ten days notice as to when I can be in. Where was the ten days notice from them? Is it any surprise that I wan’t in when they show up unannounced out of the blue like that.

If I don't get any joy from a utility company then I just mention that other companies are giving a better deal, that normally wakes them up a bit.

Or phone their watchdog... (Ask the lecky company for their watchdogs name and number, its actually law for them to give you it)I done it myself a couple of times when I've had problems, you ring the watchdog, explain the craic, tell them how unhelpful the whole situation is, they ring the lecky company, lecky company then bends over backwards! Customer service nowadays is top shelf shite, so, when they try to be awkward, I just let them handle it... Its easier, and what they are there for really... People should use them more often.
