There seems to be something missing.
It's all kind of slow and formulated, and there's no "risk" to the game.

If it were me, I'd throw in a ball, bouncing around, and make it deadly so that you had to avoid it. It'd make for a unique dodge-em-up!

Yeah, there needs to be an element of pressure/risk/danger. I'd have the blocks slowly coming down the screen. Other elements could be introduced to further complicate matters, like blocks that need to be blown up or require more than three to make a line.

Looks like a 2d version of Klax so far, I don't see the arkanoid elements in there yet.

But yeah, some imaginative enemies, power-ups and power-downs would really help to boost the playability imho.

Looking forward to seeing how the game progresses!

I know it needs work, it's early days yet. The Arkanoid element is to do with the blocks rychan. It would be better if we could see the blocks travel between bat and game area instead of them just teleporting between the two.
