I was like Dave when I was self employed, there was no "wahoo, Friday", the weekends were just other days I'd be grafting my plebs off, even Christmas's were nowt special, yeah I'd have Christmas and Boxing Day off, but generally, that was it! Now though, being full time for a while now, weekends are my days, nobody can pay me enough to work them, same with all holidays, I'm having them, summer, Christmas, the lot... If someone came up to me and said "Dabz, I'll give you 300 quid to skim my living room", I'd be "he's a number for a plasterer, he's sound, and charges £120 a day, ring him" Took me a hell of a long time to say no mind, but I did and I feel a hell of a lot better for it! As I work shifts, 365 days of the year (meaning that I can work on any day, not that I work EVERY day!) there is no better day than "Offday"
