Discovery of the day - Cadburys Flakes will not melt. I had to google this after attempting to make some chocolate crispies, but after a bunch of wasted time bot double-pan and microwave, ending up with burnt, non-melted chocolate.  Turns out that Flakes don't have enough/correct distribution of fat, so when heated they just crumble. So now I have a handful of expired Flakes that have to be eaten the 'normal' way.

I can't eat chocolate crispy cake things. The airiness seems to amplify the chocolate, or something. Really bad migraines after eating them!

Now don't get me wrong: I do enjoy McDonalds fries and I indulge in the odd bar of chocolate most days. I just don't see any reason to combine the two. Someone I used to work with used to dips their fries in their strawberry milkshake. Blech! It's a funny old world, and to be fair the Japanese appear to be funnier than most... |

I remember my cousin got addicted to battered Mars Bars back in the day, I took on look at one he was eating and just screwed my nose up at it. Just the sheer thought of it makes me wanna spew.

 I remember my cousin got addicted to battered Mars Bars back in the day, I took on look at one he was eating and just screwed my nose up at it. Just the sheer thought of it makes me wanna spew.  I've tried one... They're rank! Also, when I was up Scotland working, you could also get a battererd creme egg... They'll honestly eat they're own bairns up there!
