Thought occurred to me while reading this:-

Millions and millions of years pass then a non-human civilisation appears... Like ourselves, they are intrigued by the history of the Earth... So they go digging...

And find the fossils of three huge skeletons of a large water faring animal smack bang in the middle of where there wasnt a drop of water!

Wonder what they would make of it!
