Just saw this on the news about a rock that had a road built around it years ago in Soulbury, Bucks: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-beds-bucks-herts-35918470 The council said they'd move it after a car crashed into it recently, which, let's be honest, is the sensible thing to do (having had the "sense" to build the road around it in the first place). Had a look on Google Maps and judging by the oil slick, this isn't the first time someone's come a cropper! It stands to reason - it's a stupid place to leave a massive rock. |
