So, I picked up my leap motion...

From the royal mail depot in Durham, had to pay VAT on it... Anyway, got it home, unboxed it, went to set it up... And well, I think my email to their support will explain:_

I recently bought a leap motion (Dev bundle), and it's just been delivered.

As I went to peel the brownish strip from the adhesive on the cradle, I noticed that it was really really on there.

I spent 5 mins picking at it, and it still wouldnt come off, so, I decided to give it a bit more of a pull... And it seems that, yes, the adhesive has completely bonded to the brown strip, and thus, completely tore the adhesive foam part away from itself, please check out the photo below to see what I mean.

I cannot even scrape the bit on the brown strip with my finger nail... It's literally nailed on there.

I can only suspect that the cradle is an old one for the adhesive to do that, because on your setup video, it comes away with little effort.

So, can you send me a replacement, as that little bit of duff adhesive has made my kit, well, pretty much useless!

Kind regards

- Michael Denathorn

It's knackered, basically, you couldnt peel the brown strip thing off the adhesive on the foam (That sits on the front of the headset), without destroying the foam underneath... Thus, nothing sticky to stick with when I removed it, like in the picture... The brown strip was welded on, and thus, tore the foam.

That's Jays thumbnail creator script thingy, pesky thing... If you click it, it opens up the right way!

Though looking at it now... It reminds me of a frenchmans 'tache!

I might stick it on my top lip when I head off to Paris... Think anyone will notice?

Does a bit. Looks like one of those things you used to get out of Christmas crackers in the 1980s where you were never sure if it was meant to be a moustache, or a bat.
