If you head to FUZE.co.uk you can grab a Windows edition, as well as other versions.
I might give that a whirl, and see what it's like.

Initial impressions.
Tap [Insert] key to switch between the different GUIs.
There's a C64 theme, a BBC Micro theme, an Amstrad CPC theme, etc.
except they all seem to have really scrunched up, mangled fonts..
I'm desperately searching for a way to fix that.. Hmm..

Hit F2 to bring up the code editor, and from there do all you need do.
Continuing to learn. More later.. Maybe..

Well, I've managed to break it to the point where it'll no longer reload, so that's nice..

It's workable, but holy fucking shit, the Y axis is inverted and goes bottom to top, because... ... *shrugs*

So, I tried SetMode(800,-480) in the hopes that that would invert the Y co-ords, and then it crashed, and now it won't reload.

Ho hum..

Other issues.
1. The manual is a pain, since it's all one big PDF and there's no easy way to jump back to the command-list index.
2. The editor (F2 for editor) will close when running, so it has to keep opening and closing the window, over and over, and that's just fucking annoying!!
3. You use UPDATE to flip the buffers. CLS will ALSO flip the buffers, so you'll end up with a flickering screen. To avoid this, use CLS2, which doesn't flip the buffers.

.. That inverted Y though.. OH MY GOD...

I signed up (and paid up!) to this months ago. Hopefully it'll be fully formed and work better than Jay's pc version!

Hackers will have a field day with this.
If I can fuck it up by just typing in a number, then god only knows what someone can do if they TRY!!
I imagine this is the reason for the delay..
