I bought mony poly before I went to bed. And then I dreamt about korg instruments the entire night.

Are the new gadgets any good? I am waiting until the sound test room does a review of the new gadgets. Not sure if I want to just buy into it. I hope he does them in the next few days.

Lisbon's ok, but is k8nda limited to "heavily synthy" sounds. I’m not sure how useful it'd be, given all the other synths available.
Vancouver s a nice keyboard based sample player. About time we got this!! Load a sound via Dropbox, then play it at key-based pitches like an instrument. I imagine I’ll be uploading a bunch of Retro 8bit chiptune beeps to Dropbox in the future!!!

A new Gadget has arrived, today.
Stockholm, by Reason.
I'll be honest, it's more than a little baffling!!
It seems to have multiple samples per loop, but only some are accessible?!
Not 100% sure, but I'm sure it'll be useful for adding more drums into my mixes.. Just the other day I found a nice Gameboy Drums collection and tried importing it as one sample, only to then split it up.. But..
.. Nope.. Too long, so it wouldn't load it into London or Abu Dhabi, as it cuts off the giant sample, midway.

Just tried importing that long wav into Stockholm and it wouldn't load it. Must need a "Reason Format" thing, or something..
*shrugs*

Anyhoo, as is tradition, I used the default included instruments to make a something.

Generous Stockholm Gadget

KORGs summer sale is now on, on iOS and Mac, so if you’re after a few Gadget Gadgets, there's some halfassed bargains.

Of course, I’ve already paid full price for everything, so am quite a bit miffed about the whole situation.

Not really interested at the moment. I have been looking at the Korg Module and the inapps. The orchestral inapp is something I might want in the future. I bought the Roland Sound canvas recently. Works pretty nice with Vividtracker.

I have to start planning setting apart some money for next year(march) when the new ipad wil be available. I now have the 2017 model and I think that it might be good to replace it next year.

Korg released the electribe wave. I do not think it can be used inside gadget itself. It is pretty expensive at 20 something, and this is with the introduction price at 33 percent off.

I've not bothered to pick up this app. Mostly because it won't integrate into Gadget.
I've no use for "playable" instruments.. ... I'm shit at playing!

I have been watching every video on the new app on youtube. I had not been really been convinced it is for me.

I have been watching gadget tutorials and started using it again. I never really liked using gadget tbh. I nw also discovered how to use the new ipad screen recorder so can now make video’s of gadget playing a song

I tried that, but it kept stopping the recording after a couple of minutes, and I'm not really sure why!!

I just been able to record a short video. The youtube app itself refuses to upload anything. I was able to upload it through the pictures library.

I think I need to set the quality of the video as it looks not that great.

Not sure what causes the failure with longer video’s. I stil need to try record some longer video’s.

Not 100% sure if these are coming to iOS Gadget, too, but they've just announced Sega and Taito gadgets coming next year for the Switch version.

Sega had the Yamaha sound chip right? Those are quite nice sounds. I listen to a artist called Jredd who makes music with these sometimes.

Might be insta buys if they come to ios.

Yeah, Sega used a lot of Yamaha chips over the years. Hopefully it'll be something based on one of those. That would certainly be fun to play with!

An update today, focussed on the Midi Import functionality, which now supports longer import slice lengths.
This means it's MUCH better at handling long notes which would previously got cut off by the slicer.

Unfortunately it still doesn't do volume and pitch importing, leading to some horrific "Bum" notes in even my old Frontier Midi.

Gadget had been bugging out lately. Maybe this got fixed now. It would become unresponsive when going in background and back.

I noticed soundcloud added a repeat mode. The midi concversion is nice! I discovered daxx has a new youtube channel, maybe he wil do elite one day also!

No sign of pdate yet here. Cubasis was updated a day or so ago. Now has an appregiator in the synth.

I was studying old cracktro music this week and noticed I could recreate parts of those songs using a appregiator. I even started writing down notes on the ipad on music. I am getting more serious

There is a music show soon. All kinds of new things released. They also revealed a new korg kronos which I got recently(the previous model)

Maybe there wil be all sorts of new things revealed by companies. Pretty exciting stuff. I watched a couple of videos on the new akai force. Expensive(1700euro) all in one dj and production thing.

Not to sure on the new korg gadgets. I got the drums a while ago. I also hope they do not mess up the interface of the ios tool. Allihoopa folded and got removed. It did not seem to be used a lot. I could not find anything really worthwhile to listen to there.

Oh, I made a video going through the drum gadget rosario

I keep looking online for gadget 2 to be released. It seems rumoured that 2 of the new gadgets wil be the gadgets forms from ims20 and ipolysix. Also 2 gadgets from the switch gadget based on video game hardware tech. And one midi and a drum effect one.

I have been looking at korg module. The triton expansion that can be used inside gadget sounds really interesting. But I think at the moment the total price to get this is around 60 euro's.

I've been checking daily!
Recent App Updates include Netflix, iPlayer, Microsoft Solitaire, WordWithFriends, and, of course, Instagram which is now up to version 80 but still doesn't have a native iPad version.. Because.. *shrugs*

Hopefully it'll be soon. They did say February.. ... Right?!
