well, its officially here, the good ole Apple iphone. But was it worth the wait and hype? So far, from what I have seen the iphone isnt going to be that great. Half the joy of it is the web browsing the web from your phone and apparently its rather slow. also from what iv heard the camera isnt that great either, dosnt even do video! Here is a site that has alot of the downfalls of the iphone... Site Now even though it isnt as functional as i would have hoped it to be i must admit it is pretty good looking! its nice and shiny. It also dosnt break or scatch easily!(see video here) So is the iphone worth the $500 bucks usd? I know im not going to be buying one. What about you guys? -=-=- Stuff... Yeah...

Wow. That's an awful lot of downfalls.. My 5 year old MS Smartphone looks about 50 times more useful, and that was a first gen Orange SPV. Kinda tempts me into buying a new PDA-Phone hybrid thing, but in all honesty, I've been managing without a phone for a good couple of years, and I think I can continue to manage.. -=-=- ''Load, Next List!''

If I had $500 (or £250 as it would be here), I wouldn't spend it on a phone.

The price tag is a little high, but if it where more affordable I would buy one. In my opinion they aren't crap. Most people haven't really got to use on, but we need to remember this came from the people who made the iPod and Mac computer. Those are pretty reliable aren't they?

ha! hah!! haha!!! unbelievable. $500 for the basic version and $600 for the advanced version. tack on $36 for an activation fee. Plus, a minimum 2 year contract with ATT. And thats 59 dollars per month. I have read up about it and also talked with my friend Danny at work who bought an IPhone. Now, reading in the San Jose Merky News(San Jose Mercury News) that users are experiencing delays and glitches with their IPhones and also with signing up with ATT for their IPhones. save your money. And spend for necessities. True. |edit| but hey, if you want to help Steve Jobs and Apple financially and also get that IPhonic experience...then, go for it. Buy and Burn. Burn those George Washington bucks.  |edit|

that is so true. And ATT is known for such wonderful service and customer support too.  I found out further from Danny...that he sold his Iphone on EBay for over $700. He did the same thing for the Nintendo Wii. He bought 5 of them. Kept two for himself and sold the rest for a hefty profit on EBay. He even tried to sell me one at profit but at a discounted one too. |
