Blew the cap of the Senseo again. Had just cleaned it. Ordered a new machine. Need the coffee!

We have a Dolce Gusto, and as good as it is... the plastic waste is insane. Senseo looks alright, what with it being teabag style. Are they biodegradable?

It depends on the brand of the bags. I have no idea which are though. They are cheap though. I just got 120 bags for 5 euro's. Good for 60 large cups of coffee.

I strictly use a Moka Pot with freshly ground beans. After years of using that, using any other brewing method is like drinking weak coffee flavored water.

Maybe I'm too oldschool, I just grind the beans and use an ol' french press, add some other optional bits like some nutmeg or cinnamon.

I'm even more oldskool - I take out the jar of Nescafe, fill a teaspoon with the stuff and stick it in a mug, while waiting for the kettle to boil. No mess. No fuss. Virtually no plastic waste (the jar and lid are recycled).

Yeah, I stopped drinking regular coffee a few years back. Far too tempting having a jar sitting there, so the only coffee in the house is Decaf. ... Uncle David drinks decaf, and everyone else who visits gets a Dolce Gusto.

My caffeine intake is now one Beanies sachet coffee in the morning, and one Dolce Gusto later in the day.
More than enough..
... Except for some days when I really feel like 2 or 3 of the Beanies..!

The rest of the day it's those Bolero drinks..

Haha, I've been drinking 3-4 cups a day, sometimes up to an hour before bed. Starbucks Verona dark roast. Fresh ground, moka pot steam pressed. Almost like espresso. But I don't think it's got a lot of caffeine. Plus the acid is really low. Little whole milk for color and good to go.

Reminds me, I need to head to Totnes this week as there's a lil coffee shop at the top of the hill which has some excellent beanage.

There were some free bags of coffee in the box. One a bag of 8xCapucinno. I just had one. I think I wil be buying these too from now.

When using the machine I keep expecting it to explode!

edit: After a coffee, I just sit and an fiddle on the computer and an hour passes without me registering anything. High on coffee?
