Third here too. I probably won't have the fourth - I had pain and weakness in my left arm for months after the booster. The virus appears to be weakening and we can now deal with it much more effectively. It's time to live with it, methinks.

Having the boosters helps us live with it and lowers the hospital numbers.

My MIL has had it twice, and the second time was much worse than the first for her.

That all depends on who catches it, and which of the many strains they catch.
It may be being perceived as "nothing, now", but it's just as deadly as ever.

Yea, if you live with anyone who is vulnerable it is a constant worry as our day yesterday at A&E highlighted.

My mother is having a pretty hefty operation next month. Last week got a letter she can get a covid shot. Her own doctor wil come to her home to set it.

If a lot of people get ill with covid. They wil scale down operations again. She has been having a fever for months now. Not a great time to catch covid.

I work on the frontline in the NHS and have seen at first hand how dangerous Covid is. I've lost friends, colleagues and family. I've seen it. The recent strains are noehere near as dangerous as the early ones, unless you have pre-existing conditions are are pretty poorly anyway. But medics also know more about the diesease, how it affects us and how to deal with it now. Yes people still die from Covid, but not generally healthy people and often more as a result of other conditions.

But that doesn't mean we should let our guard down. If conditions do deteriorate significantly I may have the fourth, but, as it stands, right now I won't.
