Does anybody know of a free online tool for inpainting? Ie, Watermark removal? Guess it doesnt have to be online. Bought a picture to print and frame but would prefer to remove the logo.

Just use the clone brush on your favourite painting app. Find a similar area, reduce the opacity to about 15%, then dab away, moving the clone point and your cursor until it looks right.
IIRC you have a low powered, low spec machine, so anything that uses Stable Diffusion will likely not run well for you.
If you have a recent iPad, though, (I don't know of your mobile/tablet situation!) try DrawThings. Also available on MacOS.

Speaking of painting apps, I think I'm going to see what Krita is like shortly, older versions look kinda photoshop-like

Re: the issue, is it worth posting the image here to determine difficulty? I might have a looksie at it tonight after work for you.

Thank you, Rychan. I appreciate the offer to help. For now, I am sorted. I managed to find this:

https://www.watermarkremover.io/

It worked really well, however out of the five images, four were of an Egyptian tablet, so besides automatically taking the watermark (which was just text) off the images, it also took much of the text off the tablets. LOL Very unique situation. But that was easy enough to fix in MS paint, although I could not figure it out in the version on Windows 10 and had to resort to the XP version of MS Paint. XP version appears to have a feature the 10 version doesn't.

So, I am all sorted now. Uploaded them to my Amazon account and have ordered prints.

@Jay No, not any low powered-low spec systems here (by my definition), at least not for two years. Even the processor in my Chromebook beats the M1 in a couple of categories and supports encoding/decoding of more formats. As to tablets, limited to a Windows 10 tablet (hybrid) and very low specced, 1st gen Kindle Fire and my Chromebook, being ARM will run most things for ANDROID and do it better as it is a much higher end system than most ANDROID tablets.

lol - Some artist already dislike ai. Now it removes their watermarks Not that I do not buy art on itch and such.

I would imagine those watermarks in music samples wil be able to be removed too soon.

@rychan I tried their upscaler with a couple of pictures I took on my phone. It does a fabulous job, too. Their erase background tool looks hugely handy, as well. This was the only watermark remover I could find that was actually free, and it works automatically, as well, I do not have to select anything.

FWIW, these are the images I bought. I am having them printed and will frame them, I just prefer not to look at the watermark.

FWIW, I watermark my things as well, but for artwork, it is in a little corner of the image, not across 75% of the bottom.
