Black Friday (week)

It seems a lot of stores have already started putting offers on their front pages.

There's a number of them that are having a 'black friday week' .

I'm not really looking for anything specific. But just browsing through the sites with a cup of coffee.

No money here for a Windows handheld this year I'm afraid.

Have splurged on some more Christmas prezzies via Aliexpress over the weekend, just got my Mums gift left to get. I'll be doing my best to avoid Black Friday deals now.

Could definitely do with grabbing some emergency Roses/QualityStreet/etc tubs, Ferrero Rocher boxes, and more. Just as standard apologetic "We were too busy buying a bungalow to do any Xmas shopping at all, so this is all you're getting" gifts for everyone.
Fuxake, it's nearly December..

Black Friday countdown at 6 hours at Amazon.

I have a usb hub for the iPad in the basket that might be ordered. Jacob Haq showcased it. Most usb devices for musicians for Apple seem to not work. This one does.

I might have something that I'd consider buying also but I'd need certain assurances first, as well as the right item to be on sale at the right time.... hmm, pretty unlikely combination there

The shopping list is growing.
Lightbulbs, Laundry Pods, Carpet Cleaner, Oven Cleaner, Padlocks...

All things me and mum have been putting together in a list, so I can do a big Black Friday Tat shop!

MacBook M1 8gb 256gb : £800 Linkage
If you're after an entry-level MacBook, this is a wonderful device. 256gb is plenty, until you want to start popping some bigger games on it. .. but Mac doesn't have many gamesm so you're fine!
If you want a workhorse, it's just fine.

They have around the same prices here right now at where I am looking(bol). I got a Lenovo tabletlaptop early this year for pixel, light gaming and windows stuff. I'm still good right now.

Still find it odd that places that do not celebrate Thanksgiving have Black Friday sales.

Black friday was slowly introduced here. It is purely for the shopping and discounts afaik. The term for thanksgiving is called 'dankzegginsdag' here in Holland.

Picked up the iPad 10th gen, I was waiting to see if Apple was going to announce a newer version but my old iPad Air 2 is on its last legs...

I was using my iPad 6th gen a couple of days ago that one is stil pretty usable. The a14 cpu in the 10th gen should be able to handle a lot.

Is it the 256gb model? Even with 256 gb I have some trouble keeping enough storage free. Video and audio editing eats up storage as if it is nothing. But dropbox in the file system is a solution there.

Layla has been playing with her iPad 6th gen over here and it still holds up pretty well, she's very happy with it too

One or two websites I frequent have some crazy good offers on > Reveal 🔎 including Aliexpress, but I've told myself that only if they have exactly what i'm after will I consider giving in.

Only thing I ever ordered from Aliexpress was my OrangePi and that was only because Amazon did not have the 256GB drive model.

Nope Pakz, I went cheap and got only the 64GB version, on my usage it'll be fine.

Went to buy some ice cream and a radiator style space heater tonight at Walmart. They had 53 inch TVs for $188. TCL brand. I will take them over most other brands of TV, tablets or phones. Amazing screens on them.

Did not buy one as I do not need one, but last year the ones that didn't sell got marked down to like $40 for a 53 inch TCL.

Had to look up the R36S. Wow! I prefer what I have, but I will buy a R36S when I can. The controllers on that would be ideal for N64 games.

I got a better weight bar than my previous one. 1.5 meters. The new one can hold 250kg. I can lift 110kg with deadlifting at the moment. The old curl bar is now being used for the 'good mornings' back exercises.

My mum got her Washing Machine. A 'Samsung Eco Bubble'. She needs some time to learn to use the interface. I had looked up reviews where it was said this model was populair with older people.

Sounds like you got some bargains, Pakz. That is roughly 250 pounds, not bad at all! Glad your Mum was able to get a washing machine.

iPad rocked up yesterday, the migration process was seamless, very nice device.

I had ordered a case for it too, and it was really cheap so sending that back.. the official cases from Apple are $130 and whilst I don't mind spending on quality it's just a case/cover. Any case recommendations?

I haven't ever had a case for any of my iPads and they've all survived perfectly well enough. But then, I also don't take my iPads out anywhere, so.. *shrugs*

Getting a good case is something I look at. I have one old iPad with a original apple leather case which I dislike. The Targus ones however are better.

There are magnetic ones by other brands including Apple I think. I remember someone telling his new Ipad just fell out and broke the screen. Do not get those ones.

Gave in and got some stuff from black friday week,

Picked up an R36S game console for £21
3 belts for £5
and a block of squishy plastic for £5 that will be oddly useful in my quest.

Yay playing merge boss on te bus to and from work this last week and a bit netted me £17 of discount otherwise I might not have been tempted by the R36S also, thanks for the recommendation Kuron

Looking forward to some more gaming action on the move!

I'm trying this one now https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B0BMX9RTQT/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1

It has the magnetic connections hopefully it's alright, if not it'll be sent back lol
