This site depicting events that have taken place during the development of Duke Nukem Forever is a little out of date, but an interesting read.

It's interesting to see CVG is still surviving.

3D Realms are still around and have since published Max Payne and Prey. There's still hope - prey took 11 years or so to get out the door.

The really odd thing about it is how much work has been done on Duke Nukem Forever. I could believe it being on constant hold for 8 years, but to constantly update and perform more work, just strange.

Although not too rare. Shenmue 1 and 2 were originally developed for the Saturn.

Is the Duke still kickin?

Kicking alien butt!??

I'm waiting for House of the Dead 5.
Maybe plasma guns and laser rifles this time.

there were a few other games I played
besides Duke Nukem and Doom at the time.

Lets see Hexen, Heretic, and even
Shadow caster by Raven.

and oh yeah!! Blake Stone.
