Origionally, Blitz Basic was a program available for the Amiga.

Now, as we are more likely to know here, it is also a product from Blitz Research for the Windows PC, and now BlitzMax spreads the reach onto Linux and the Apple Macintosh.

 		Ages ago I made an article on DevCrunch about how the Blitz article was up for deletion. It looked like an advert and so I re-wrote almost the entire page. I also removed lots of lies or mistakes.

The content might have been tweaked a little over time, but the whole structure and general points were all my hard work.
