I reckon if shops start putting up Christmas stuff, your good to go... It's Christmas!!! Which means, you could've played it last month over here!

Our local council has just put up the Festive light displays on the lampposts along where I live, so it must be Christmas!

Besides, you've got to test it to make sure it works. What if come Christmas Day it doesn't turn on? Stocks will be exhausted then, so you'll get no replacement until September next year...

You know it makes sense.

Yeah, and you need at least an hour with it, to install all the updates.
And don't forget that updates for games will only install when you've put the cart into the system, so you DEFINITELY have to do that, too..

Yeah, that's going to take about 8 weeks if you've got a good selection of games (or just Zelda), which will take you right up until... err... Christmas!

What games should we be getting? We got Mario Rabbids with the console and Mario Odyssey as extra.

* Zelda - of course!
* Arms?
* Mario Kart?

Zelda's a definite
Puyo Puyo Tetris is great for two (or more) gaming.
ARMS is ok, but it set my motion sickness off with all the fairly rapid camera swoops. It's fun, but I can't enjoy it.
(Which is a bit of a pain in the arse given I paid full price for the fucking thing)

Avoid 1-2 Switch This game sucks donkey balls.

Additionally, check the Jackbox Thread. Some of the games are great if you have a group of players.

Look at the eShop too - great games like Stardew Valley, Golf Story, Thimbleweed Park and sooooo many others are available at £10-£15 or less.

Avoid Snake Pass though - even on special offer at a tenner at the mo it's a dull and tedious game.
