This was last night. Most of the northwest saw it coming over, which is why it was so ominiously silent.
Apparently Wales had it much worse.
Kinda cool to watch though!

I tried taking a video of it, but I think iOS Beta 14 has a "No lightning allowed" clause in it's camera software.
Couldn't get ANYTHING from it.
Mum's still on iOS 13 and her videos were clear as anything.
Fuxake..

We had a fair few loud rumbles and the odd flash yesterday. Hailstones and heavy rain for 15mins and it was all over. The humidity afterwards felt like it was about 130%! Fecking icky-sticky.

Nout today though.

Some pretty bad after-effects of three days of thunderstorms, most notably, this train derailment, but also some horrific flooding, a couple of sinkholes, and more.
Hope everyone's safe.

Reminder : Pretty lights can be dangerous.

A few distant flashes here last night, seriously disappointed, and now the sky is a light grey colour with little spots of rain.
