Your Unfinished Megagame

What game did you never finish?
What game were you too afraid to start?!

Mine's probably that bloody Pool game.
It mostly works, but the pocket physics suck, and I can never seem to be arsed to code all the IRL rules into the game.
I probably should. I mean, it would be fun to have in the Shoebix. But every time I open the code, the dreaded fear of "getting it wrong" seems to get in the way.

Bill & Ted : Time and Time Again...

Bill & Ted: It's About Time

I honestly think it would be a far better game than any of the commercially available Bill & Ted games.

I've got two RPG/Dungeon crawling games at a really advanced playable and fun state, but just need some background graphics - I'm OK spriting, but larger backgrounds suck out all my motivation.

I've got a few 95% completed, but unreleased games too - including one that Jay kindly did some awesome music for. I coded them specifically for the Pandora (but they work on pc), but just couldn't be bothered to post
Here's one -

But the one game I really only just started is one I'd really like to finish is "Non-Stop Ninja" (which I posted as a Wednesday Workshop? game here a couple of years back). I've got soooo many ideas for that.

Must be a variant of a Civilization style strategy game. The last one I started in 2017 when I got a new laptop. I think I gave up on continuing when the pathfinding got added and the ships could travel with these. I just had no idea on what to do next.

It is broken on fast refreshing screens and has several other problems.

Mine is a Clone/Conversion of the game Swibble Dibble which i started JFF. (in blitzbasic !)

What i have is: All of the graphics, all the 85 levels, the main char is jumping and running so far, the collision with the game map is working but there are still some 'bugs'.

Now i can't recall exactly why i stopped. I started it somewhere in 2016, but i was making long pauses.

Probably i'll continue with it soon (maybe in 2~3 months or so) ...

Nemesis - entered into a competition, 99.9% done. I did the graphics, Stu on coding and we had some epic music. Just needed some tweaking, bit of balancing etc. Unfortunately, despite wanting, it did not happen.

Bill Gates : MicroQuest

This was going to be a pokemon style game, with random 'legal' battles, in which famous TV legal personalities both real and fictional would fight you and try to prevent you from reassembling Microsoft.
Above is as far as it ever got...
