In the days when Jimmy Savile did TOTP, it would have been good if that pedo cunt had ran out of coins for the electric meter.

My little sister would "watch" Dooby Duck's Disco Bus after coming home from nursery.
Would've been about 89/90, thereabouts, and was one of those kiddies shows that CBBC used to put on at around 3:50.
This, Pingu and other shows were launched in that slot, all at about the same time. Only Pingu managed to survive!!

The show is essentially 70s/80s hits, with marionette ducks/otherwise dancing to the wonderfully disco beats.

To this day, if Rocketman, The Tide is High, Blanket on the Ground or other songs from the show come on the radio, me and mum shout "Dooby Ducks!!"
.. We're both sad enough to have watched this show much more than my sister ever did!!

Well, it passed me by completely. Don't know how. Could it have been a regional thing? Perhaps BBC East didn't screen it?

I doubt it was regional. It was part of CBBC, with little baby Phillip Schofield and Gordon the Gopher presenting it. Not sure they regionalised that...?

But it's a very niche show, and not many folk knew about it. Even YouTube only has a handful of clips!!!
