I haven't really been looking around for it yet but I was wondering if any of you recommends any graphics library for C++. I want to make a simple 2D game in 1 week.

I've used Allegro - wait that's for plain C. But you might check it out. Never messed with anything else, personally.

Allegro is a game programming library for C/C++ developers distributed freely, supporting the following platforms: Unix (Linux, FreeBSD, etc.), Windows, MacOS X and Haiku/BeOS.

Seems like it's also for C++, thanks I'll have a look.

Allegro looks pretty nice! Right now I'm using SDL. It's fairly low level but I quite like it.

On (I think it was Phoenix's) recommendation, I've been using SFML. It's pretty versatile, although perhaps Allegro may be simpler (I haven't checked).
