Wednesday Workshop #130 : The Touching Challenge
Time until Deadline

Week : 19 December 2007
The Reason : Regular games suck on a Touchscreen!

The Challenge : A nice simple week, with only one real rule. Make a game that'd be fun to play on a touchscreen.

Basically.. Make a standard game, but ensure you only use the mouse, and the left mouse button. (or... you know.. a touchscreen!)

Extra Info
Keep in mind that a Touchscreen only registers mouse co-ordinates when the user is touching the screen.. ie, the left mouse button would be held.

Weekly Rules/How to Enter
You have until Tuesday Night/Wednesday Morning 00:00 BST to submit your levels. ^ See Deadline Link! ^

Wed.Workshop is at SoCoder.co.nr. If you can read this, you're probably already there!

Stick your entry underneath this post, leaving a link to your zip or the source of your game, or whatever. (I really should get round to that Upload thing, shouldn't I!)

If you can't figure it out, or have a really rubbish server, send it to Jayenkai@Gmail.com and I'll stick it straight onto the SoCoder (Official Wed.Workshop) site.

Entries will be collected during the week, and then entered into the next week's voting. (If there are any entries..)

Please try to keep all entries within small file sizes. 2Mb is the average maximum for files.
Additional Rules are available at the SoCoder (Official Wed.Workshop) site, under the list of previous workshops.

Is this perhaps some sneaky way of getting ideas to your DS games, Jay?

Perhaps I'll enter, if I can come up with a decent concept.

Not at all. Just a cheap way to get a nice batch of games onto the work PC, so you can pretend your working, whilst playing silly little Blitz games!
..
Nothing wrong with that

Are touchscreen monitors any good?

I'd have thought they'd get all scratched and greasy.

But damn, I did forget to enter. Sorry!

Their pretty nice for drawing, especially flash stuff. and they do get sort of dirty, but you can just clean it off, plus you cant really notice it.

unfourunatly, i wont be entering because i will be spending the rest of today playing guitar hero 3. WOOOO!
