Stealth	How is everyone liking the new Firefox? Me? It feels really stable. I like the suggestions on the search box. I also like the restore session feature when my computer crashes. How about you guys? -=-=- Quit posting and try Google.

Jayenkai	Auto Suggest = Already in Google Toolbar Spellcheck Forms = Already in Google Toolbar. If I wasn't already using google Toolbar, that'd be 2 nice new features. Otherwise.. I dunno. svrman	Laste tiime I cheicked... Hmm is there some sort of trick to this? My firefox doesn't speeeeelcheck for me. Other than that, it feels like and looks like the same to me. Probably because most of the new features were available in one form or another as extensions in 1.5. Meh, technically it is the only browser that works the way I expect it to (ie. when I is scripting). -=-=- BlitzRSS script back online!

JL235	They have moved the x to close the tabs too so now it's like IE 7, and people say their copying FireFox. Can you change it back in FF 2? I preferred it being on the right for all tabs and I might consider downgrading just have that back.

Jayenkai	Right click a Text input box, and there should be a new "Language" option. Install the language, then restart firefox. And, to change the tab properties, I've been using Tab Mix Plus which gives LOADS of options for tabs. -=-=- ''Load, Next List!''

oscar	There is acutally an option in FF2 to change the tabs... check the about:config() or whatever it is... i know that it is an integer based option... try googling for it i saw it linked somewhere off digg though... i'll see if i can find it again

JL235	Well one thing I do like is the fact it doesn't seem any slower. That is usually what ruins a browser for me, for example the new Internet Explorer.

JL235	I haven't heard of this Google Web Accelerator before, but after trying it, it seems a little pointless. According to the data in total it's saved me 1 out of 15 minutes of loading. But considering pages normally take a few seconds to load in practice it is noticeable (is that really how you spell noticeable?), just. Even then I probably wouldn't notice if I didn't know there was supposed to be an improvement. Also non internet type pages, like pictures seem to take far slower then before and it's broken the BBC news player (to the point I have to empty my cache in FF as well as disabling the accelerator).

tnt23	do you have broadband or dialup? cause it's only supposed to speed up broadband. but it's not safe cause it can store passwords and stuff in it's cache (which is public). -=-=- What if this were not a hypothetical question?

JL235	I am on a network connection via my university, which is faster then Broadband. Having removed it, it does seem noticeably faster, but only just. If it wasn't for all the bugs it caused with the pages I was visiting, I would have kept it.
