Socoder -> Film + TV -> Movie [plot] ideas!

I need ideas. Like... now.
Tonight while in town I saw a poster for a local festival that's being held every year. I kinda knew about it before, but never really paid any attention to it. Until now.
Thing is, you can submit a movie for a competition that's being held as part of the festival each year. The grand prize is 5000 NOK (around 750 USD), but either way your movie will be shown on a big screen with audience there to watch it. Which is like... cool!
And, providing I win, the 5000 NOK would make a nice addition to my 'CalArts + moving to the US fund'.
So, there's really only one problem!
Ideas! I need a plot!
The maximum allowed length of the movie is 10 minutes, and concidering I'm gonna have to draw each and every single frame by hand, I think that's about as much as I'll be able to produce within a year (if that!)
I was thinking maybe I could make some kind of surrealistic take of a live performance by Metallica over one of their songs... other than that I'm a little short on ideas right now.
So if you have any possible plot ideas, let's hear them!!

Hmm... what about some kind of story where the main character meets this guy who, at first is weird, but then you think he's just really frustrated. So he gets to talking to the guy, and learns all kinds of strange stuff (some very useful), and you eventually figure out why he's upset (something really important). Its like, you think this guy is an idiot, and after getting to know him, you realize he's a genius!

...What do you think?

For a plot, how about something to do with cats.

But as adivse, plan this out. You should know exactly what you need to shoot and how before you shoot it. Plus it'll keep your cast/crew/helpers/whatever more engaged if it is well organised and your not wasting their time.

Bill & Ted 3 : Rufus Adventure

Explain what Rufus did for most of Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey, from when he disappeared in the future, to when he showed up in disguise to allow Bill & Ted into the contest.

Thanks guys! Appreciate the input.
Does anyone know of any fairytales that haven't been used in movies before, or at least haven't been used in movies in a very long time?

Hm.
I think I've found a plot-idea for my movie that would work.
And, lo and behold - while searching for speakers on the net [the movie plot will involve speakers], I found a custom design that would fit my movie perfectly!
The tutorial on how to make them can be found here.
There's really only one problem - they're apparently based on some toy franchise named 'Munny'. I googled the name and found this page.

To summarize:
Do you guys think that using models of these speakers could get me in trouble with the company that makes these 'Munnies'? Legal wise?

Yep.
But they're just little men. You can easily "tweak" them to be less copyright infringing.

Make them like that, but shove the speaker in their belly, like a tellytubby, and then give them a big hairy Afro hairstyle..
Call them Afr0Speakers, or something.
Sorted.

I think I'm just gonna go with the speakers pretty much the way they are.
As far as I can tell, the speakers are a modified custom version of the Munny that noone has copyrighted.

I just had an idea...

Remove the foam wind-deflector from a 1970's disco microphone, stick it on top of a Barbie Doll's head, and do a stop-mation film with that.

You could call it "Afr0 Barbie"

Your movie idea was ok, but I found it hard to translate into a tangible plot in my head.
