Erebel55	I'm getting married on March 26th 2011 We are trying to decide on what to do for our honeymoon. We are thinking of around 3 to 5 days. JL235	Hawaii shouldn't be too expensive from the US, or you could always go to Las Vegas. Maybe even Australia, but you might have to do it on the cheap to fit into your budget. I think this will be out of your price range, but Hong Kong is an excellent place to visit and would be top of my list.

Afr0	Congratulations! I'm not really sure what kind of travel you'd prefer, so here are some suggestions: If you like Star Wars, you can travel to Finse, Norway. That's where I live (Norway). Unfortunately I haven't ever been to Finse (I've taken a train through), but I've seen pictures and it is beautiful. I'm going to go there at some point. The icy planet of Hoth in 'The Empire Strikes Back' was shot on location in Finse. However I wouldn't recommend going that late in March/ early April. Almost all the snow will be gone. If you're of the adventurous sort, your wife might like it if you took her to Mount Everest. It is a big mountain, that holds the record for the highest registered peak in the world. Are you romantic? Then Paris might be the place for you! It is the capital of France, and is said to be the city of lovers, and the most romantic city in the world. Paris also houses some nice hotels such as the Hilton Arc de Triomphe that sits among iconic Paris landmarks, 10 minutes' walk from the Champs-Élysées. Maybe gambling is more your forté? If so, I recommend the city of Las Vegas in the state of Nevada. It has alot of famous combined casinos and hotels, and has many scenic sights, especially from the air. Another exotic location might be The Outback in Australia. It is a city that is mostly filled with dessert terrain, kangaroos, koalas and Aboriginals. Here is a page that gives some information about budget travelling in Australia. Last but not least, there is also St. Petersburg in Russia. It is a historic city which has been home to many events such as the October Revolution. Scherererer	The cost of flights alone would put you in the hole if you went to Hawaii... or any other non-continental location for that matter; just looking at prices for Hawaii it looks like about $1,000 from Detroit to Hawaii... I would recommend Florida, since it is my home state, for your vacation! According to Bing, it costs about $165 to fly from Detroit to Tampa, FL and the same price to get to Orlando. Miami is about $200. I would recommend you look into St. Petersburg (Florida, not Russia), Sarasota, Clearwater, Daytona for some of the best beaches in the world. dna	Congratulation man. I never knew your were in the US. Sherererer has some good ideas if you want to travel. I've been in Tampa and there are not too many things to do there. So I think. You might want to go to Orlando and go to DisneyWorld. I went there for my college graduation and it was fun. It might be the cheapest for you as well. I would mention going to Key West Fla. The Island is 2 miles by 2.1 miles and you can see some beautiful sunsets there. It can be pricey for some rooms and the only real thing the are the small sights and lots of drinking. A Disneyworld package might be the best for you and it could bring back some good childhood memories. -=-=- DNA

Evil Roy Ferguso	We stayed at the Maple Lane Cabin in the Hocking Hills for a weekend, and it was quiet and lovely. Most states (certainly including Michigan) will have at least some aesthetic wooded regions with little rentable cabins in them; they're typically about the price of a "good" hotel room, and since they're regional, you can probably drive there instead of resorting to air travel.

Afr0	I came up with some more great ideas! In the category of 'big mountains' there is Kilimanjaro. It is in Tanzania, Africa, and is apparently the world's highest free-standing mountain. If you like metropolitan cities, you could always catch a flight to NYC. It is the US's most populous city, and has many sights to see, as well as many nice hotels. Another exotic location is the small island-country of New Zealand. It was used as the shooting location for the 'Lord Of The Rings' trilogy of movies.
