Evil Roy Ferguso	For a quick fix, try: Console.WriteLine(telephone.ToString("000-000-0000")); --v instead. That will pad with a zero instead of omitting the digit.

spinal	Afr0 it all depends which country you are talking about. UK has eleven digits, the first five are an 'area' code, the last six are the unique phone number. However, if calling from a different country, you then have to take into account the international code, which replaces the first zero, making the number thirteen digits. -=-=- Check out my excellent homepage!

JL235	Maybe it's because my parents live in Birmingham, but by convention me and my parents have always treated local area numbers as 7 digits rather then 6 (although I know about 6 too). I'm sure that is standardised in the UK, but it does show that even within the same country different areas use different conventions.

Afr0	wut? UK has 11? Honestly, how many people do you have living down there in farmland? (Norway only has three digits for area-code, and I thought it was quite common in Europe in general.
