And Call &BD19, I think that was wait for next frame or something like that.

CALL &BB03 flushed the keypresses from the keyboard buffer... t'was handy!

There was a CALL to reset the machine, but I cannot remember it now!

I remember that reset thing but also can't remember the memory address.

I think I've got a copy of the firmware manual on my HDD somewhere, I let my hard copy go with the CPC when I part ex'ed it for an Amiga. I was only a kid then so I didn't realise what I was getting rid of. Probably would have been worth somthing by now. LOL

|edit| I just remembered, I uploaded it to SoCoder a while back. Link below. |edit|

Well, I had mine right up until 1994, me, my little Amstrad, and my beloved PD Library I used to run!

Then, I discovered Merrydowne cider, didnt touch a line of code for 6 years after that!

I miss the days where I'd be tinkering away in the ambient green shine off the monitor, looking over at the clock, thinking "shite, only 4 hours before school!"!!!

Saying that, somethings never change, I'd be sitting here and I'll look at the clock on the PC and think "Bloody hell, its 12.30, 6 hours and I'll be up for work!"

Nah, seriously, glory days them, wish I kept all my stuff from back then, I wrote all sorts to sell for 1p/kb, as well as buying from others, there was some amazing stuff made just before I left the scene... There's some good stuff now, I love this demo:-

Mine's under my desk.
*pats it's keyboard*

Poor little fella's got a dodgy monitor. Thing keeps flickering, which affects the keyboards power, thus resetting the whole system.

I could do with a little connectable power supply to keep the keyboard powered up, alongside a possible vga/tv output..

It's on my list of "One day I'll get around to all that" things to do.. along side figuring out what I'm doing with all these converted Amiga disks that I copied to my hard drive at some point a year and a half ago.
*sigh*
Time - AGameAWeek = 0!

I didn't get the green shine, I had a colour monitor. I still remember the twang that sounded from the monitor when first switched on and the static shocks from the screen. LOL

Just looked it up, Call &0030 is actually the user jumpblock reset.

God yes! I'd forgotten about that.

I started with the green screen, but it fecked up so we sent it back and paid the extra to get a colour one. Heaven!

CPC coding has long since been erased from my brain. A real pity

Well, I started with the green screen, but, one birthday (cannot remember which one, lol), I unwrapped me present and there it was, a tv modulator, Roland on the Ropes, on me TV.... Cor!!!!

I'm currently considering this doohickey. Probably aim for that.
Not yet, though.. Bog all time even if I do get it!

I kept hinting at my mum and dad for one of those when I was a kid, never got one though. It would have been good to see the CPC on a bigger screen.

Cool

My CPC monitor went bang once and I tried to get a tv modulator everywhere, with no joy - they were like gold dust. Managed to get the monitor fixed in the end, but always wished I had a modulator just in case it blew again.
