If anybody uses windows these days -- Boom is a really nice music manager because it has no frills at all to configure, it just plays music Linkage

Nice!

Just had a quick play with it and it is good, but it would be nicer IMO if the icons where a bit smaller... but thats just a small issue.

My general method of managing music is to use the system default. FOLDERS!!!
By using folders, it means you can grab your music archive, drag it from Windows, pop it onto a Mac, and bingo.. All your music is still managed.
No faffing about, it's just there.

Yep, my music is organized by filename and folder. I really despise faffing about with trying to add/correct tags every time I get new music...or re-doing the tags so the player I'm using brings everything up in a way that makes sense to me. Besides, I've never liked the idea of bloating up my files with a bunch of extraneous data in the first place.

That's the thing though -- it just uses your folder structure!
